1. What Sparkli is
Sparkli is an AI-powered learning platform that helps children ages 5–12 build future-ready skills through curiosity.
- Expeditions: interactive, story-led learning across subjects such as financial literacy, AI ethics, sustainability, and design thinking.
- Curiosity Map: a system that shows a child’s developing interests and learning progress.
- Gamified learning: Sparkles, badges, and other rewards that encourage exploration.
Sparkli supplements learning. It does not replace formal schooling or promise alignment with a particular curriculum.
2. What these Terms cover
These Terms govern the Sparkli website, web learning platform, iOS and Android apps, educational content, and related services. Together, these are referred to as Sparkli or the “Service.”
By creating an account, downloading Sparkli, using it yourself, or allowing a child to use it, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, you should not use the Service.
3. Who can use Sparkli
Sparkli is designed for children ages 5–12, but every account must be created and managed by a parent, legal guardian, or educator who is at least 18 and has full legal capacity.
Educators using Sparkli for a school or institution confirm that they are authorized to do so and will manage any required parent permissions or consents.
4. Ownership, licenses, and your content
Our service and your license
SPARKLI AG owns the Service and its intellectual property, including software, content, visual assets, interactive experiences, Expeditions, Curiosity Map logic, interfaces, and underlying technology. If you follow these Terms, we give you a limited, personal, revocable license to use Sparkli for non-commercial use or authorized internal educational use.
You may not reverse engineer or hack the Service; scrape Sparkli or use its content or output to train or evaluate AI systems; or copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service.
Your content
You or the student retain ownership of uploaded content. You allow Sparkli to process that content only to provide the Service, including progress and Curiosity Map features, and to improve the learning experience through internal analysis.
5. Subscriptions and payments
Current early access
During free early access, Sparkli does not collect card details and will not charge you later for past free use.
Future paid plans
Sparkli may introduce subscriptions or paid features. We will give clear notice before payment becomes required so you can choose whether to subscribe or stop using the Service.
- Apple and Google purchases, cancellations, and refunds are managed through the relevant app store.
- Paid subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- We will provide reasonable notice of price increases.
6. Updates and availability
We may update, change, pause, or discontinue some or all of the Service. Although we work to keep Sparkli reliable, uninterrupted or error-free availability is not guaranteed. Maintenance, security work, and events outside our control may temporarily affect access.
7. Disclaimers and liability
Sparkli is provided “as is” and “as available,” to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted service or specific academic results, grade improvements, or curriculum alignment.
To the fullest extent the law allows, SPARKLI AG is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss. Where liability cannot legally be excluded, total liability is limited to the amount paid to Sparkli in the 12 months before the event that caused the claim.
8. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms as Sparkli develops. For material changes, we will notify users through email or an in-app message. Continuing to use Sparkli after an update means accepting the revised Terms.
9. Ending your use
You may stop using Sparkli and delete your account at any time. Canceling a paid subscription normally leaves access active until the current billing period ends, without a partial-period refund.
We may suspend or end an account for serious breaches, including abusive conduct, payment fraud, or violations of content restrictions. Prepaid fees may be forfeited when termination results from a breach. If Sparkli discontinues the Service or ends an account for reasons unrelated to a breach, unused prepaid subscription time will be refunded proportionally.
10. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Swiss law, excluding conflict-of-law rules and international treaties. Disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the ordinary courts of the Canton of Schwyz, Switzerland.
We prefer to resolve concerns informally first. Contact support@sparkli.ai.
