When you use our website

Our servers receive standard technical details such as your IP address, device operating system, browser, referral source, and visit date and time. If you join Sparkli or subscribe to updates, we also receive your email address, the role you choose to share, and basic signup details.

We use essential cookies for security and functionality. We do not use non-essential marketing or analytics cookies. Website trends are measured through anonymous, aggregated, cookie-free analytics from Plausible.

Important: Children do not need to submit personal data through this website.

When you interact with us on social media

We receive information connected with your interactions, such as comments, messages, and engagement statistics. Social platforms process information under their own privacy policies and may use it for their own purposes.

We process data when needed to provide the website, communicate with you, prepare or fulfill agreements, meet legal duties, protect our services, prevent misuse, and improve our products and business. Where consent is the legal basis, you may withdraw it at any time.

We may send launch news or similar updates when you consent or when the law allows us to inform existing customers. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time.

5. Our children’s privacy commitment

The website is intended for adults, including parents, guardians, and educators. If we learn that information from a child under 13 was collected unintentionally, we will act promptly to remove it.

The Sparkli app is designed for COPPA and GDPR-K compliance:

• No behavioral tracking or advertising on children’s experiences.
• Children’s accounts are connected to an adult account for consent and oversight.
• Children can use a pseudonym rather than disclose their name.

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data. A small number of providers support functions such as hosting, secure email delivery, and analytics, and receive only what they need to provide those services.

We limit international transfers outside Switzerland, the EU, and the EEA. Where a transfer is necessary, we use recognized safeguards such as standard contractual clauses. Personal data in the Sparkli app is stored only in Switzerland, the EU, or the EEA.

We process and secure data in line with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection and the EU GDPR. Appropriate technical and organizational measures help protect against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, or misuse.
